1 · Purpose and availability
These terms govern Riseform, a personal fishing log for recording trips, catches and related conditions. Public iOS and Android listings are not open yet; the purchases described below can only be made after Apple or Google publishes them.
End-user licence agreement (EULA)
On iOS, use of the application is governed by Apple’s standard end-user licence agreement (EULA). On Android, these terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use Riseform on your compatible devices, for the free features and purchased rights described below. You retain ownership of your content.
2 · Access to the log
No account is required. The core log is free: trips, catches, photographs, history, day detail, comparisons, alerts, shareable cards, backup and export. You can create three trips in Riseform. The first successful import sets a reference date: earlier photos can still be imported in several batches without using that allowance. Creating a fourth ordinary trip requires Plus or Founder. Existing entries remain readable, editable, backed up and exportable; importing those historical photos stays free. Local features remain available offline; weather, swell, some river flow, the basemap and place search may require a connection and may be unavailable.
3 · Plus and Founder

Alerts are free. Each alert can produce up to two notifications per month. Riseform promises no free trial unless an introductory offer is displayed and confirmed by the store. The price, currency, taxes, duration, any trial and the terms shown by Apple or Google on the confirmation screen govern the purchase at that time.
Plus is offered for a one-month or one-year period. Payment is charged at purchase confirmation and the subscription automatically renews for the same period. Cancel through your store account settings before renewal (at least 24 hours earlier on iOS). Paid access remains available until the end of the subscription period. When Plus expires, the creation limit applies again if reached; the existing log remains accessible. Founder is a one-time purchase and does not renew. Riseform receives no payment-card data. Restoring a purchase right depends on the Apple or Google account used for the purchase.
4 · Withdrawal and refunds
Purchases and refund requests are handled by the relevant store without limiting statutory consumer rights. Where immediate supply of digital content requires express consent or a waiver of a withdrawal period, that information must be collected on the store purchase screen.
5 · Your content and data
You own the trips, photographs, notes and spot names in your log. Riseform claims no rights over them and neither publishes nor sells them. Backup and export are free and go to the destination you choose. Network calls needed for conditions and maps are described in the privacy policy.
6 · Expected use
- Comply with applicable fishing rules, including sizes, quotas, seasons and licences.
- Do not circumvent the application's technical measures.
- Do not use the application to aggregate or publish other people's spot positions.
7 · Conditions, alerts and safety
Riseform is a memory and comparison tool. It does not predict catches and recommends no trip. Tides, weather, flows and notifications are indicative and may be missing, change, or be delayed by the phone's operating system. They do not replace official bulletins, safety rules or your judgement.
8 · Changes
The application and these terms may change. The version and date published on this page identify the applicable text. A material change will be announced through an available channel before it takes effect where required by law.
9 · Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by French law without excluding mandatory consumer protections or the courts available to a consumer. For an amicable resolution, contact bonjour@getriseform.com.
