Support
Last updated: 8 September 2026
Riseform is built by one person, in Brittany. There is no form, no ticket number and no bot: you write, someone reads.
Write
| Address | What for |
|---|---|
| support@getriseform.com | A problem in the app, a question about how it works, a subscription |
| confidentialite@getriseform.com | Your data: access, erasure, opting out of usage measurement |
| bonjour@getriseform.com | Everything else — remarks, ideas, feedback from the water |
In English or in French. Messages are read on weekdays; expect a few working days for an answer, longer in high season. No delay is promised here: a useful reply beats an automatic acknowledgement.
What to put in your message
Riseform has no account and sends no logbook data: nobody here can look at what you see. Three things make all the difference:
- your phone model and its system version;
- the app version number, at the bottom of the Profile tab;
- what you expected, what happened, and on which screen.
A screenshot is often worth more than a description. One caution: a screenshot can reveal where a spot is. Crop it if you would rather keep that to yourself — we do not need it to understand a defect.
Your data stays with you
The logbook lives on your phone. No copy of your trips, spots or photos exists on a server, so there is nothing we can restore on our side. Before changing device or uninstalling the app, use Profile › Back up my logbook, which produces an archive with the photos included. That is the only way to recover a logbook elsewhere.
Subscriptions and refunds
Subscriptions are sold and billed by the App Store and by Google Play, never by Riseform. Cancellation and refunds are therefore requested from the store where the purchase was made — Settings › your name › Subscriptions on iPhone, the subscriptions tab of Google Play on Android. We have access neither to your payment method nor to your purchase history, and cannot refund on their behalf.
If a purchase does not unlock what it should, do write to us: that is a defect, and defects get fixed.
Reporting wrong data
Tides, weather, river flows and the base map come from public sources credited at the bottom of the Profile tab. A wrong value sometimes comes from the source, sometimes from us. Tell us the place, the date and what you observed: that is what makes it possible to tell which, and to fix the right one.
